Codenvy.io Updated to 5.18

In May, Codenvy was acquired by Red Hat and Codenvy’s proprietary code is being donated to the upstream Eclipse Che project.

In the meantime, however, we continue to see growth in the usage of codenvy.io’s hosted Che workspaces and want to keep our SaaS fresh for developers. So we’ve just updated codenvy.io to use Eclipse Che 5.18 which includes some great improvements:

• .Net 2.0: New stack, sample app and language server.
• Git: Integration in project explorer, better diff and keyboard shortcuts.
• Dashboard Usability: Simpler workspace configuration and management.
• Search: Better search result page.
• Java Formatters: Ability to import Eclipse Java formatters.
• Performance: Faster workspace agent loading.
